Your Ultimate Guide to Nusa Lembongan How to Get There, Where to Stay, What to Do & More

Just a short boat ride from Bali, Nusa Lembongan feels like a world away. With its crystal-clear waters, laid-back pace, and dramatic coastlines, it’s the perfect escape from the chaos of the mainland. But what really makes this island special isn’t just the scenery — it’s the kindness of the people and the rich local culture that still holds strong.

Families here have lived on the island for generations, many still working in seaweed farming or running small, family-owned villas and warungs. There’s a genuine warmth and simplicity to life here, and that shows in the way locals greet you, help you, and welcome you in — not as a tourist, but as a guest of the island.

Over the past few years, I’ve had a lot of people reach out asking how to get there, where to stay, and what to do. So I’ve put together this guide based on my own experience — to help you plan a trip that’s as relaxing, real, and unforgettable as Lembongan itself.

Getting to Nusa Lembongan

The easiest way to reach Nusa Lembongan is by fast boat from Sanur Harbour, Bali — about a 30-minute trip across calm seas. I personally recommend Setia Fast Ferry for their reliable, safe, and friendly service.

📍 Arrival Tip: You’ll board at Sanur Harbour, and on arrival, you’ll offload straight onto the beach at Jungutbatu — so wear sandals and pack electronics in a dry bag.

Where to Stay: Best Villas & Resorts

For great accommodation, I always recommend using The Lembongan Traveller — a local team with a great range of hand-picked villas, beach houses, and boutique stays. Here are a few personal favourites:

Have you been looking for prints ??

As an art enthusiast, you know that prints can be a great way to bring some of your favorite pieces into your home without breaking the bank. But finding high-quality prints that truly capture the beauty and detail of the original artwork can be a challenge. Fortunately, with a little research and attention to detail, you can find prints that will satisfy even the most discerning art lover.

When looking for prints, it's important to pay attention to the quality of the printing process. Look for prints that are made using high-quality materials and printing techniques to ensure that the colors are true to the original artwork and that the details are crisp and clear. You may also want to consider the size of the print, as larger prints can often offer a more immersive and impactful experience than smaller ones.

In addition to the printing process, consider the reputation of the artist and the authenticity of the print. Look for prints that are signed and numbered by the artist, as these are often considered to be more valuable and collectible. You can also research the artist to learn more about their style and technique, which can give you a greater appreciation for the print and the artwork it represents. With these factors in mind, you can find prints that are both beautiful and meaningful, allowing you to enjoy your favorite artwork in your own home for years to come.

Travel blog coming soon !!!

First of all i would like to give you all a little info on me and what i plan on doing with this blog.

I am from a little town on theSouth Coast of NSW, Australia called Batemans Bay. This part of the coast is surrounded by beautiful National Parks which means unspoilt beaches and bush. I have been lucky enough to call this place home for the past 30 years.

12 months ago i decided to buy my first camera after a trip to Bali. I caught up with a friend who i had not seen for a year or two and he was traveling the world capturing it all on his way with his camera and i said to myself i would i want to capture my travels and adventures. I have always loved taking photos but all i had was my iPhone and it was time to take the next step and get a good camera.

So here i am 12 months later and i am so overwhelmed on how far i have come and i am now looking forward to the next 12 months to see how much further i can go and the doors that will open with opportunities  for me. So please follow me on my journey and see where it leads me.
